Could Somebody Explain What Happened to the Back of this Sheet?

Good Morning,
This sheet in Auction # 190360591965 looks to be legit, I have only seen a couple others, ever (Never with a printing defect), and by the Front would have brought probably $3-5 K conservatively. But with the Double Printing? or whatever printing defect it is, I now have no idea what it will fetch, but still think over a grand.
Seller has it here in Colorado, in the Denver area, and said I could inspect it in person, so this is another reason I believe it is real.
Any ideas, comments?
Thanks
Neil

This is known as “bad luck.”
After further study of the pictures, two other things confuse the issue, the color on the front of the sheet is way to light (Sun Bleaching?), or it almost looks like all the colors weren't added originally. The second thing, and actually this may be the answer to the back, the way the numbers are placed, two of the same number next to each other, the sheet may have been double stamped (Printed), on the back, with the second stamping only moving part of the way through a card?

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

Could well be so.
Paying $1K for that junk would require the buyer to find
an even bigger sucker in order to make any money.
It is a fun wall-decoration, but not much more.

Storm,
Even though I voted for ya for Poster of the Year, this is one you got wrong. Not even close to Junk. The amount of sheets that exist from this, The 1938 Gum Inc. Horrors Of War sets, one of the most collected Non Sport Issues ever, make even this Sheet worth Gold, printers ready or whatever it is. I believe this is exactly the 4th sheet I have ever seen for this set. One sold at one of the Major Auction houses pretty beat up for something like $3-4 grand a few years back.
Mark my words, (And watch this auction), if it goes for less than $500 it is a steal, and I expect it to reach a grand easy.

If it is a make-ready, it has VERY little "value" compared to the
other sheets you cite.
As a decorative memento of the set, it will likely often attract
some buyers, but it is hardly an item that warrants a large
investment.
Like this one obviously is...... Most uncut sheets from that era will be printers scrap (screwups or practice sheets). It is like most of the early Bowman doubleprinted back sheets and some 1941 PlayBall wrongbacks
Often retrieved from the dumpster or taken home by an employee.
The front color could be from 70+ years of display in a sunny room

I am still surprised it went for that much.
And I am surprised it went for that little, Year/Year and Half ago, it would have been a grand. But I was wrong, you were closer to actual.
