Is one a fake?

Based on the history of one of the sellers, I assume one of the two is a fake. Only other explanation is that one was sent to be reholdered. However, the T/B centering on the card(s) does not match. May have to zoom on the smaller photo to see the difference.

I guess the one on the right is bogus, but who knows.

The case looks bad on the left one, so now I'm lost.

If they reholder something don't they keep the same flip?

Tough to say, but it appears that the card on the left is a little short. Unless it is the scan. JMHO

  • Just my opinion too, but the one on the left looks like a fake flip. The one on the right was sold buy an eBay user that has been the topic of numerous forum discussions here and on other sites. That alone makes me suspicious of the one on the left.

The left case looks like a top crack-out and flip switcheroo.

  • Definitely looks like two different cards.

The bar code on the flip on the left doesn't look like any of mine, no matter when they were graded.

This card matches the flip on the left (above) more than the one on the right (gap between the "MT" and "10")

PS. Here is a better pic of the card on the right above.... Is the "GEM MT 10" too condenced?

i vote that the one on the right is fake, res. and centering is consistent with the $5 flea market fakes...

I thought I remember someone saying that all PSA flips have 4 lines of text (or 4 possible lines), no matter when they were graded.

    Can anyone confirm this?

I would say the one on the right is fake.

The one on the right looks bad - I've never seen the 10 that close to the MT.
It's not part of the Craigslist batch, which is worrisome.

Gem Mint Jordan rookies are just the sort of item that the Chinese might start faking in quantity - and it doesn't matter how sturdy or tamperproof the PSA slabs are - they'll make up duplicate slabs.
