WTB Minnesota North Star PSA cards.

Looking to buy Minnesota North Star graded cards. My dad and I went out to lunch today and started talking about how much fun it was when I was kid going to North Star games. So I started thinking about how great it would be to start putting together graded North Star team sets. So I am looking to start o pee chee team sets from 1979-1991. I thought I would try here first before going to eBay. Let me know if you have anything you want to get rid of. Thanks.

  • I probably have the 1979 Topps set if you wanted to go that direction.

I don't have graded ones, but have some autos from the '90 and '91 season i believe...any interest?
Looking for rare Randy Moss rookies and autos, as well as '97 PMG Red Football cards for my set.
  • There's a total of 16 cards of North Stars plus the team checklist for the 1979 Topps brand for that year. Here's what I have. All PSA.
11 Greg Smith 8.5 low pop
    22 Ron Zanussi 8
    36 Tim Young 8
    64 Steve Payne 8
    93 Glen Sharpley 8
104 Al Macadam 7 low pop
    151 Kris Manery 8
    177 Tom Younghans 8
    206 Bobby Smith 8
    219 Mike Fidler 8
    231 Brad Maxwell 8

I also have ungraded raw that would grade 7.5-9. I've gone through 10,000+ to find these raws to make up sets.
    52 Gary Sargent
    118 J.P Parise
    136 Gillies Meloche
    192 Per Olov Braser
    251 Team Checklist

I'll give these to you if you can find any of these in high grades that I need. My 79 Topps sets are #2 and #4. Thanks, Mike

Johnny, Good luck in your quest. Why are you choosing OPC vs. Topps out of curiousity and while it is low on my collecting list, I would like to have a complete run of raw Topps North Star cards from inception to defection.

I have zero emotive connection to the Minnesota Wild -- their colors, their logo, the whole thing. I'm thinking if you graded out the great uniforms of the NHL, that the Minnesota North Stars would be the top of the U.S. franchises behind the Rangers, Red Wings and Flyers.
    Enjoy your collection!
