An early birthday/Christmas present for me!

The LSU campus gift center had a winter clearance sale. My fiancee and I went to pick up last minute gifts for friends and family.
As soon as we walked in, I was, of course, drawn to the rack of game worn LSU football and baseball jerseys. The prices were hefty, but not exorbitant ($75 for baseball, $150 for football.)
I waffled between getting a baseball jersey, getting nothing, getting a football jersey, getting nothing.... and just wavering in general. My fiancee said "your birthday is in a week, if you want a football jersey, you should get a football jersey."
So I did! There were about 40 football jerseys to choose from, including NFLers Ronnie Prude, Curtis Taylor and Keith Zinger.
The jersey I chose was one worn by Lester Ricard, who spent a year as a backup to JaMarcus Russell and Matt Flynn, before transferring to Tulane halfway through the 2003 season. He went on to go to camp with the Jags, Panthers, and the CFL.
I chose it mostly because it was one of the few with actual sleeves. It also has the handwarmer pocket. It is from the 2003 national championship season. I was surprised when I got it home that it fit as tight as it did. I guess that's how it's cut.
Anyway, Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas to me!
(I was instructed to smile....)

Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
