Ted Williams

I know what i think of it but wanted to get others opinions without my bias. Strong for the grade? Weak for the grade? Should be a grade higher? Should be a grade lower? Just right?

    Assuming no creasing that doesn't show in the scan, that looks like a technical 3 with much nicer eye appeal.

    I like it and at least from what I can tell from the scan, I think it is graded accurately.

    Great looking PSA 3, IMO!

    There doesn't seem to be any noticable creases anywhere!

    The super clean back is certainly a plus!

    The colors look decent, and agree it's graded correctly. Is that price close to what it's worth? I've seen this card before but had no idea of how rare they are.

    Looks VG to me.......

    All Wilson cards are scarce, but far from rare.

    The Williams is just as common as any Wilson card, its the key to the set, and many consider it the best looking Williams card, so the value is inflated IMO

    For that $$ I could find 100+ cards Id rather have in VG

    I agree that scarce is more accurate than rare when describing this card. This one's a little overpriced. PSA 3's typically go for between 2-3 thousand. As far as Ted Williams cards and post war cards in general this is one of the elite cards. PSA has graded 106 Wilson Franks Williams total with 59 grading over 3. As a comparison PSA has graded 700 54 Bowman Williams cards, over 600 48 Leaf Williams cards, over 600 39 Playball Williams cards and over 600 41 Playball Williams cards. Other than trial sets and obscure issues, there are few cards as scarce for postwar issues. Prewar is another story.
