Anyone ever build a jersey case to hang on a wall?

Was looking for some advice on building an autograph jersey case to hang on the wall. As some of you know, I picked up a Dwayne Wade auto jersey for my son for christmas. Now I am trying to build a case for it to hang in. I was thinking I might come out cheaper building something as opposed to buying one. Any posts would be helpful of what I need to pick up and where I might be able to find the material for one. Thanks

    I have medium+ carpentry/building skills.

MANY little frame shops would now likely give you a reasonable
    price on a pro-built case.

Unless you just like building stuff - and know how to do it well -
you are not likely to benefit much with DIY.

There are quite a few options out there. I had someone custom build a dozen shadow boxes for my jerseys. I have had a NJ Devils Jersey signed every season since 1991-92 and have each in a shadow box that also displays the season's media guide, opening night Center Ice program and opening night or Stanley Cup ticket stub. The shadow box has a glass swing door, a hanger bar for the jersey, a shelf for the media guide/program and a slip sleeve for the stub. I've had to rotate the displays as I only have room to display 12 and I've got more seasons worth of stuff...

If you can find/build one that lets you modify or change the contents, it may be the best way to go.

    Here are some other options:
