Something wrong with these 76's

I've bought a lot of stuff from this guy with mixed results.
These struck me as strange:

The Rose has a tilt on the right side but not the left.

I did not notice the borders being large. But then again I don't generally follow this issue.

I believe the seller's description states, "Mint or there abouts". Hard to go wrong with that much detail...

I remember as a kid they used to put mini-sheets in "Dynamite!" magazine -- maybe from those sheets. The borders on Brett are enormous.

only somebody who is brain dead would off a raw '76 Brett if were truly that nice.....we're talking potential mega-card were it PSA 9able.

Didn't someone buy some nice '69 tallboy bkb cards from him recently? I thought they had bought from him and got some 9s and 10s. I hope I didn't mix up the seller. Maybe a rare mistake on my part to bid on his auctions.

I bought the tallboys from him, so I put him on my list of favorite sellers.
I also picked up a lot of 75 minis from him, each one had problems

Maybe you got lucky on the tallboys. That was a huge score. I hope I get lucky on my purchases. The '50 Bowman Mize looks killer but I don't have another to measure it up to see if it's the correct size. I don't think the '56's will get through. They have the textbook curve of a vintage miscut.

You might do OK. Like I said, it's been hit or miss. I did pick up some 72s that scored half 8s and half 9s. But I also bought a (cheap) lot of 76s and each and every one had snow. And the minis were horrible as well.

Didn't you get 9s and 10s on the tallboys?

No 10s. I got some 9s down to 7s.

Must have been someone else I was thinking of who got a 10 on a checklist and a 9 on some star cards.
