Welcome Doc. My son who is a mite just started playing goalie as well. He loves it and can't get enough hockey.
6 yr. old dek goalie? I envy him. I wish there had been deks when I was a kid. I started in college in Philly. Haven't played since 2001 (marriage and kids) but wish I could, although I think the place up here in CT burned down a year or two ago.
Good luck on the hockey binder heavy on goalies.
