2009 Topps Football question

I opened a box of 2009 Topps football, and noticed there are two different Jeremy Maclin Rookie cards. Both cards are #380. Just wondering if they made different cards for each player or rookie. Is one a rarer variation? Just curious more than anything - any insight is appreciated - thanks!

    in the hobby boxes there are occasional Short Printed rookie cards. The Short Printed version are worth substantially more. They list the variations in beckett.

    I believe there are short prints in the 09 football. Could be you got one of the short-printed versions. Someone else may be able to shed some more light on it than me.

    yes there were rookie variation in topps, check ebay to see which one is the rare one.

    According to Beckett 380A is a $2.50 card while 380B (football in hand )is a $40 card.... a 2009 topps black is a $20 card... take the pricing with a grain of salt-
    football in hand or black card are the "rarer" 2 versions
