I don't see a problem here. It is slabbed as an authentic autograph. The card is noted to be a reprint and there is no grade for the card. Unless I am missing something.

PSA/DNA does not authenticate cards and will only comment on the medium on which the athlete has signed. In their minds this card is the same as an index card or cut signature. The card WAS NOT, I repeat WAS NOT graded but the autograph WAS authenticated.

The problem is that card is NOT a reprint. It IS a counterfeit.

    This is an authorized reprint.

And although only the card was graded, PSA missed the boat by putting reprint on the label.

  • I agree, identifying the card as a "reprint" is wrong. The term "reprint" has been used for years by the big manufacturers for their own sets. PSA should follow BGS' lead and note the card as "customized". Any other term wouldn't be very attractive for prospective buyers.
  • i really dont see the problem with this card, the grade is for the autograph.
