Just pulled 15% and made a purchase. Just wish it would accumulate for a series of BIN's purchases made from one seller and paid for on one invoice.

I must be doing something wrong. I search via Bing then when I pull up the eBay item, I don't see a discount when I click buy... thoughts???

Go to www.bing.com and type "nintendo wii" (without the quotation marks) in the search box. The first result on the search page should say "nintendo wii-www.ebay.com" In that same clickable result it will say "Buy nintendo wii. You may get 15% off with PayPal if eligible."

Click on that result, and it will take you to eBay through Bing's search, and then all the eBay searches you do from there will be under the discount umbrella (for buy it nows). You'll know you have done it correctly if you see the green cashback icon at the top of every eBay page you visit.

To test it out, find an auction and click the blue "buy it now" bar, it should take you to a page to review your unmade purchase, and above the "commit to buy" bar will be a message from Bing telling you how much you will be getting back from that purchase based on what the percentage is.

Not only did I get the 15% rebate, but it was an INSTANT CASHBACK. Deposited to my account shortly after I paid. Definitely makes the purchase less painful. I'm still not sure what triggers the INSTANT CASHBACK as I have a few that are still pending from the past month or so...

Seems to be if the seller lists their item as "no refunds" then it's instant. The 60-day delay is in place just in case you decide to return the item.

Nintendo Wii is still bringing up 15% as of this morning. Have at it.

$1,333.33 (or lower) is the optimum BIN you want to hit, any higher than that you still get the $200 maximum discount, but you're really not getting 15% off anymore.
  • Is the maximum # of transactions still at 12?

Don't hold me to this, but I think I read in a thread somewhere that it's $2,500 max cash back per year, and 40 purchases lifetime.

corrected thanks! Very sad that even with 15% Bing, 10% ebay coupon and 2% ebay bucks....BIN's are still too high image

Thanks for the heads up. I found an item for myself as well as a Lego set for my son for Christmas that is sold out here locally. Plus it keeps building up my eBay bucks . image

  • Someone posted here awhile back how to combine your BigCrumbs discount with Bing ... how does that work exactly?

I just did a search on "Nintendo Wii" (no quotes) and didn't get the cashback link.

I've done these previously (back when bing was still live.com) so am not sure what the problem is here. Will try a different browser...

Using IE7 instead of Firefox, I got the 15%. Microsoft discriminating against a non-Msft browser? Perish the thought!

Thanks for letting us now. Just used it to pickup 2 laptops for my twins for Christmas.

    Hi,

If it is giving you the indication of the discount, does it mean that you have already properly set up the BING account. I cannot log into Microsoft Live. I set up an account a few months ago for Microsoft Live, but I cannot remember my login. I cannot access my primary e-mail, so I tried using my Blackberry but when I try to create a new password I keep getting "service unavailable".

Also, on the eBay side of it, I wanted two items from the same seller but seems to only give the chance at 15% on the first item.

    Thanks,
    Paul
