Look at his other auctions. Every case looks really frosty and he has a 61 Yaz and 71 Rose that you can see what appears to be pry marks and a crack or two.

I've gotten stuff directly from Newport Beach that looks just like that. They look frosty in the scan, but the tamper-evident areas of the slab still look good.
All the cards have sequential certs, and look to be part of a 12 card sub.
cases look fine , I get tons of cases that look like that in scans directly from psa , the tamper evident parts and cracks running inside the frost are when you have issues. I will try to scan some tonight when I get back and you can really see the difference
If I ever submit a bid on a seller with low feedback (5 in his case) I am very selective of bidding aggressively. He's been on ebay 6 months, has a feedback rating of 5 and hasn't bid on anything recently. Bid with caution.

He mentions in the description that the card has a tear and looks to have been touched up.

even if the seller had 2000 feedback let alone 5.

spring for 15 cents so a potential bidder/buyer could see what the back looks like.

Afternoon,
Yes, unless I sub it, then it's either a NM 7 or Mint 9 OC all day!!!

I was wondering the same thing about this Gaylord Perry RC. I need this card badly, but is this really an 8 with NQ!
Edit to Add: I am not questioning the seller, He is a legit seller, just questioning the PSA 8 NQ grade on this card.

That Perry is a good example of a low-end PSA 8. It's l/r centering is slightly better than 30/70. It's an 8, but barely.
Buy the card, not the holder.

Absolutely agree with that statement! AS bad as I want this card for my Post WAR HOFers set, I am not touching it tonight.
