Cook Islands Gold - Can't find info on this anywhere. Legit?

I won this 8 gram gold coin as a door prize a few years ago at the Santa Clara show. I had just put it away, but tonight was trying to find info on the coin, and can't find a thing. Have gone quite a few pages deep on Google, and still nothing. Any thoughts or info on where to turn would be appreciated.

    It's there in Krause (after going through page after page of modern Cook Is $50 coins), 8g, 99.99%Au, mintage est 5000, listed as value of $250 in proof.

    Andrew, thanks for your help. Yeah, I didn't know I had won it. It just showed up at my door a couple of weeks after the show.
