Early Birthday Present......to myself

I'm turning 35 in about a week. To keep this card related, I just finished the '68 NM+ set in record time so I guess this could be to celebrate that.

Also, I will not be putting together any more vintage sets for a while, lol.

Absolutely useless in my neck of the woods as it wouldn't make it out of our driveway in the winter. image

it will not be making it out of my driveway if it ices or snows. I live in a subdivision on the side of a mountain basically. We only get snow once a year usually though, if that. It usually gets cold enough to ice about once or twice a year too. We may have a big snow or icestorm once every 3 or4 years. I'm in northeast Georgia in the foothills of the mountains.

I don't know Mercedeseseses very well, but that's a nice car! What's the year/model? That car would look sweet with a Ohio State Buckeyes decal in the back window! image

Wish I could say that we only get one snow storm a year in Maine. And even though were getting spoiled by the warm temps right now (mid 40's to 50) it's only a matter of time before we get slammed hard by old man winter.

Nice Car. Tried to buy one for my Wife but she didnt like the inside(too compact) or the $100 oil changes. My father in law works at the Mercedes plant here in Tuscaloosa so we would have got a nice discount. She ended up getting a Lexus ES 350. Congrats on the purchase.

'09 C300 Sport. I have a good relationship with the wholesale manager at a huge Mercedes Dealership in Atlanta. I've bought several from them to retail here. The Mercedes Dealership tacks on about $3500 to make a car like this Certified Pre-owned. All that means is they give it a good check up, and add 2 years and 50,000 miles to the existing 4 year 50,000 mile factory warranty. When I buy one I don't pay for all of that and buy it for less than wholesale at their cost. Pretty sweet deal. It has 4400 miles on it.

Not 4matic? Was it RBM in Atlanta?

Thank the lord you got the extended factory warranty too

Balance shafts and cyl heads on those 272 engines are fun! image

Atlanta Classic Cars. Huge Mercedes Dealership. It dwarfs RBM, although I've heard good things about RBM as well.
