Good luck with your sets. The new member 1961ToppsGuy just started the same 2 sets. What a weird coincidence.

No problem. Who knows, maybe you and he can do some trading. Just think, no postage required.

payment sent to itzagoner for 7 commons. Thanks

The '69 set was a fun one to do. The Jackson rookie, the Ryan, and the Bench from that year are some of my favorite cards. Good Luck on finishing your set.

which ones do you need? I usually end up needing a star for my last card but I have needed a common for my last one too. Oddly enough, the last card I needed for my '69 set was the Aaron and I bought a PSA 7 from Burgundy for that one and the '64 set I did came down to Aaron being in the last few too. Now Aaron is one of the last 5 I need for this one. The reason the stars are the last for me is I try to pay less than VCP for them graded so I sometimes don't get the ones I want but I've been pretty patient so far. I've gotten very lucky through auctions and board members on this set and have almost completed it in a very short time.

image Aaron. yup. just the way it worked out and i'm looking for a PSA 8 i can really enjoy owning.....also a #5 Leaders and 3 of the World Series cards (#162, 163 & 169) which seem to be quite popular, so i'm chipping away as well as upgrading with help from our friend Burgundy.....i'll get the 5 i need and then do some fine tuning. image

My local card shop has a NM one for $150. I doubt the dude will negotiate but I can ask. It's a nice card, if it would've had a shot at an 8 I would've had bought it already. image

Thanks. The avg. VCP for a PSA 7 is 113 and 228 in PSA 8. There haven't been any 7's or 8's up for auction on ebay during the time I've been looking or I would have bought one. All of the BIN's are so overpriced it's ridiculous.
