Psa/Dna pop........SOME MAJOR DISSAPOINTMENTS

Theres 3 I STRONGLY disagree with. The Tazawa I got in person @ the Eastern League All-Star game this year. The Wright I got in person @ Shea with my best friend who does the police detail there.
Also the Cano came from MY BEST CONTACT in the minors where I get 99.9% of my stuff. I never had 1 thing ever refused from him EVER in the past 6 years. He gets everything 100% himself straight from the players. To be honest I dont know about the Young or kROD I bought both of them off ebay.
I know its an opinion so it is what it is!

Well at lease they got another sub done so maybe they will start on my PSA/DNA submission.
Again Its not end of the world but I like to put half my cards in a both Jsa & Psa holders. I guess more will be going to Jsa. It would save me a bunch of cash also.

The only reason I send items off to get authenticated is because buyers want it and rely on it.
Ive had in person autographs deemed questionable authenticity.
Its only an opinion of someone who works there, so it really isn't much, but buyers like that PSA/DNA and JSA said its good, which results in more money.

<< <i>They have a exemplar file with everyones auto. They may just have less then another. No excuse with the Wright & Cano though. I can see Tazawa but there are many items that are Psa/Dna on ebay.

Just playing devils advocate here for a minute.
You state you used to work for JSA...isnt that a conflict of interest if that card you send to JSA gets labeled as authentic when PSA/DNA has already deemed it questionable? Knowing that you have friends within JSA that would make me think twice about purchasing a JSA slabbed card from you.

Please dont misunderstand me and my question. I am not trying to be an ass here. But doesnt your alleged association with JSA cast a large shadow over items that you are selling if they are encased in a JSA authentic slab? I mean its not like we are talking about a normal Jeter rookie or something like that. Autograph authentication is nothing more than someones opinion and if you have some leverage and friends still working for a company that does nothing but offer an opinion...well doesnt that make anything you sell in a JSA slab suspicious because an opinion can be swayed? (not saying you would do that...I am just saying) Or is it just me?

I will say it one time. I value my reputation as a honest dealer more then any person you will ever meet. I would never sell a fake card to anyone for any price.
With that said. I also have had in person auto's turned down by Jsa & sent them to Psa. They were slabbed on numerous occasions.
What you dont know is they make there opinion on exemplars they have in there files. Psa & Jsa have diff exemplars so there is the main reason why some pass & some dont.
I know you dont like me for some reason. So I expect you to try to dig up anything you can possible to discredit me. Thats ok because I know what your motive is. Also I would never expect you to buy a card from me.
So dont misunderstand what I'm saying but I really dont care what you have to say. Believe what you want to believe!
Best regards!

I would really hope that JSA values it's reputation more than to certify a bad sig for a friend or employee.

I never said I dont like you...I never said you were up to anything.
In this day and age when even a US marshall was busted for giving secrets to enemies isnt there a possibility that someone inside ANY company that is hired to give an opinion can be open to a few extra bucks to change their opinion. That is all I am saying. My point was that we all know what credentials you say you have and I am not questioning that. But because of your openess about where you worked, wouldnt that background raise red flags to someone if they knew you worked for JSA and had cards that were turned down by PSA/DNA and showed up as authentic by JSA?
I AM NOT BY NO MEANS SAYING YOU ARE DOING THIS!! I AM NOT SAYING JSA IS DOING THIS.
I am just saying because of your openess with your background, you could be called into question when cards are rejected by one authenticating company and then authticated by your former employer who you might potentially still have "ins" with. I only posted this to state that there is a possibility that these autos that were rejected by PSA/DNA might be a point of contention for some people if they knew about your JSA ties and IF they are authenticated by JSA.
I am not slandering anyone...I am not saying this is happening. Maybe I am just pointing out the obvious but there seems to be a potential conflict if the rejected cards are authenticated by JSA.
By the way...I have totally left you alone for quite some time on all the boards you post on. I have no agenda here, just posting what is obvious to me.
It's certainly a thin line, that's for sure. I trust his judgement however.
<< <i>You're aren't factoring in the most important, why would JSA risk losing their credibility for anyone? A company involved in getting paid for their opinion, isn't going to throw it away for an former employee or even a current employee. Look at GAI for example, they lost their credibility and, IMO, haven't and never will recover from that 2007 fiasco. >>
Again, playing devils advocate here....JSA obviously has their reputation on the line and would never do something such as I mentioned. But a disgruntled employee....and many (if not most) companies have them...or even more likely, an employee that needs cash badly and is willing to do this one time for a nice payday can throw a reputation out the window in a hurry. Now I dont know the quality controls these companies have so I have no idea if this is possible. I am just saying that a conflict of interest does have potential here.
And the cards that are being submitted are not one of several thousand copies a authenticator sees on a daily basis. These are unique minor league cards that can be spotted a mile away because not many of them are being authenticated. So its easy for a bad authticator to be on the look out for these cards even if the cards have the submitters information removed while in the grading process.
Again...I am just speculating and its nothing more than an opinion by me. I am not saying this is happening!!

To have a academic debate on speculation is utterly pointless.
