What was the peak of McGwire's RC?
What are some examples of prices realized on McGwire's RC? I think I remember some RAW examples selling for $300. Can anybody remember raw cards bringing more than that? What about graded? What about Tiffanys? What about some of his 1987 cards? I was out of the hobby in 1998.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Offer him 600 and see if he takes it. When he says yes, tell him that you were reffering to 600 pennies. BTW, this is the last decent comment I make toward you for the next two weeks. You are now my USSR and I am USA!!! I hate commies.

<< <i>The below card, in PSA "10", was selling for over $500.00 back in the day. I remember buying one and getting a great bargain ... I paid ONLY THREE FRIGGIN HUNDRED DOLLARS for the card ... which is probably worth about TEN BUCKS now.

I sold mine a few months ago for $14.99 and was happy to have it.

Bill, I think I was the one that bought it off of you.

I also remember a card shop in a Kansas City mall had 1985 Topps boxes for $1000. Bargain!
<< <i>Somebody offered to trade me an unopened 1985 Topps Tiffany set straight up for a NM-ish 1962 Topps set and I had to think about it for a little while before declining. >>
Ouch.

After that and especially in 98-99 it was so inflated that one could only lose.
I would say it peaked around that time.
