Need some help from the vintage cardboard collectors

I am going to be attending this auction and I need some help from some of the vintage cardboard collectors. This place has some old cards, but since I have no knowledge, I am asking for the boards help on if I should attempt to pick up any of these singles. Let me know what you think. Thanks. Greg

Depending on the price and condition on closer inspection, the 62 Koufax and 69 Ryan might be worth bidding on.

That 69 Ryan is a stamped repro, so I'd pass on that.
They've got some cool old stuff there, including a radiation detector kit for a bomb shelter, which is beyond awesome

Good catch, I didn't see that on the back.

  • I am for sure gonna bid on the rc airplane, some marbles and the tyco train set. The goudey card looked okay, but I dont know much about those.
  • You must bid on the Empire Strikes Back figures inside the Darth Vader case. $150 would be a great buy if it's all one lot.
  • Bill, are some of those the original ones. I wasnt sure if it was an old vader case with newer figures.
  • Didn't look to closely but a few look like original Star Wars figures. The rest are ESB. Without the weapons, you can still get $10-25 per figure depending on who it is.
  • Thanks Bill for the insight. I will keep those in mind as well.

Not much in old cards. Both Arky Vaughan cards are $10-$20 at best. He is a HOFer but the condition is bad on both.

I still have all of mine in the Vader case! I was a nerd kid too so they're all perfect with capes/weapons. Still have the original sticker sheet that came with the Vader head too.

    I can't believe I just admitted that.

12-10, nothing sucks like a big orange!!!

    Sorry, couldn't resist.

I would have posted something negative before Monday, however I just now stopped hyperventilating this morning.

BTW, I now despise Lame Kitten more than Fat Phil, which I really didn't think was humanly possible.

Would the '87 Donruss Opening Day possibly have the Bonds error? Is that still worth some $?
Looking for rare Randy Moss rookies and autos, as well as '97 PMG Red Football cards for my set.

Not worth it in loose condition....unless there's a blue snaggletooth hidden in there. Plus I don't see any weapons. Still, I do love Empire figures.

Love the gas-powered Stuka...my friend had that same one. If I remember you tied it to a string and it flew in a circle around you.
Kiss me once, shame on you.
    Kiss me twice.....let's party.

Wow, you got a lot of nerve bragging over that win. If Kiffin had a clue about clock management......
