Two old flip SCD cards...worth sending to PSA??

I actually posted the checklist a little while ago but was wondering about the Stargell too. I know the older SCD grading company was pretty good. Also, do I crack them out or send in as they are??

Thanks-
Claude

I would crack 'em and send 'em.

    HI Claude

Depending on what I'd want as a min grade is how I'd send them.

If I wanted to cross at the same grade I'd send them in the holders.

If I wanted an unbiased new opinion I'd prolly crack them.

Of course my decision would be based on what I had in them.

    Good luck!

If I had those, especially the Stargell, I would keep them as is. You can find other PSA 8 65 Stargells but those are pretty unique in and of themselves since that version of SCD is a thing of the past.

    Crack and send.

I've had good luck with the older SCD graded cards, but - the Stargell might get a 7-7.5 because of the centering. The checkist looks nice. I'd send both of them

I agree with this assessment - SCD did not desolve because of a poor reputation. These are still respectable and collectible items. Why risk cracking them.

good luck with whatever you choose.
