    Very nice examples.

I've had some decent coins from Israel over the years but nothing worth very much; the 1948 25 Mils would be nice...image

Shouldn't your 250P be "with pearl" or what am I seeing below the bar on the reverse?

It is not the Pearl but the "H" for the Heaton Mint (UK). These are lower mintage.

Ah, pity... but, nontheless, a striking numismatic example!image

The H variety is actually harder to find.

See other "No Pearl" variety I have

Kinda like those early year issues especially the 250 and 500 Pruta. Something about the simple steadfast design....

I agree you gotta get the '48 25 Mil which is really tough in UNC but I have seen a few over the years - thats the first coin minted by the State of Israel in 1948
