Checklists on Set Registry

Today it appears that PSA added two checklists to the Pete Rose Master Player Set, one a 1973 OPC Reds and the other a 1974 Topps Reds . I could be wrong ( I do not have either in order to determine correctly), but I do not think that either of these checklists have a picture of Rose. Rather they have facsimilie autographs of team players including Rose. My question is to other collectors, are there other items like these checklists in a Master set that do not include a picture of the player? Are there any other examples of similar checklists that have been included in other player sets? I would appreciate an answer from any fellow collectors who can respond.

I have not seen other entries in master sets that do not show the players photo.

IMO, including checklists like these would be a huge mess and that these were added in error.

Send an email to customer service and explain the issue -- I expect that they will be removed.

I got rejected last year when I tried to add the 73 OPC checklist to my Ted Simmons Master set.
Reason from PSA: "There is no picture of Ted Simmons on the card"

Probably added in error.

I know they probably don't belong in a player set, but I always liked those fake autos.

There are other checklist cards in master sets. I collect Tom Seaver cards and there is a 1973 OPC checklist card there.

redlegs - it's not supposed to be in the set. Let PSA know, and it will be removed.

IMO adding team photo checklists for any player who didn't have a separate picture (I'm thinking Frank Robinson, on the '75 Indians card) but just appeared in the photo is a bad idea, although I'd be OK with adding the team checklists which have a list of player names below the picture. Sometimes it takes a magnifying glass to determine if a player is in the picture - and on many of the '60s checklists, that may not be enough.

Thanks to all. I did recieve an immediate response from C. Robbins acknowledging mistake on part of PSA. PSA removed the checklists today.

I have always liked these cards but I definitely understand having these cards removed from the player registry sets. I have often wondered why these were never thought of as part of the regular issue sets. I know that they don't have their own card number, however, they were inserted in packs right along with the regular cards and have all of the card numbers for the each team listed on the back.

One thing I noticed is that for the individual registry Team sets, PSA has the Football team checklists included in the Team sets for 1973 and 1974 but does not include the team checklists for the Baseball Team sets in 1973 and 1974.
