Has This Ever Happened to You

I was contacted by some scumbag who asked if I wanted to buy a card that I had been out bidded by on ebay. He asked if I wanted to buy it at my last bid. He said he was usiong his daughters ebay address and to email him directly and not through ebay. He wanted my ebay id also. Of course I did not respond to this piece of crap. I contacted the seller and told him and he got back to me and sad of course it was not him. Just wanted to give heads up to others and to find out if this had happened to other members.

    Wow! No, this has never happened(although I don't do a whole lot with Ebay compared to some people). Sorry this happened to you. Thanks for the alert!

    I thought eBay made it so the bidders identities did not to show so that people can no longer do these type of things. Seems like that idea was a failure.
