I need some help combining front and back images into one scan

I feel like an idiot having to ask this but how do I use paint to 1 scan that includes the front and back of a card? I know I should know this but I've never had the desire to do it so I never learned. But now that I've started the T206 set I feel like I should learn. Thanks for the help.

I appreciate the offer but I really should learn how to do it myself. Thanks, anyway!

I've never bothered to find out personally. I'd rather keep them as separate images, then post the 2 next to one another with no space:

    Who is Rober Maris?
  • Using Microsoft Paint?

get a scan of front to back obviously.
open the first image in paint.
use the selection tool to grab the image as you want.
    select copy.
    file new.
    paste.
select resize, uncheck "maintain aspect ratio" and double the width -- or 200%.
    save the image as new.

    open the second
use the selection tool to grab the image as you want.
    select copy.
file open (open your first image).
    paste.
you should be able to use the selection tool (arrow) to drag the pasted portion as you see fit.

    done.

Thanks, Jake. That's exactly what I was looking for. I'll have to give it a try here in a few minutes.

  • I've been creating my scans using the panorama feature. Scan the two images. Load them into a panorama and align them as you wish.
