IS there a player that you collect because you miss seeing them play???

It's always been hard for me to accept when a player I really like ends his career. I think that is why I collect certain cards. I miss seeing these guys play. How about you...does anyone else use cards to take you back to when your favorite player was active?

Same here, if I find a card that was from a game that I was at, it makes me want to get it.
