Done up to $650 without a problem.
Just make sure you trust the seller to send the product. You have no recourse with Paypal when sending a gift.
  • I have done several thousand and it was free as long as I used an echeck and the money came directly from a bank account.

A guy paid off a bet to me of $2500 using it.

I believe the OP is the seller.
  • ah. gotcha. Echeck seems the way to go
  • I use it to send gifts to all the less fortunate paypal members.
  • In case anyone does not know, sending payment via Gift does not cost you or the other person any fees. I do it almost daily in an effective move to use the account with cash back.

I think this is all well and good; but PAYPAL/EBAY can probably nail you in the long run doing this. Why is everyone not doing this?

If you sent payment as Gift and got ripped off....it would hardly be Pay Pal/eBay to blame.

If I haven't mentioned it already, I think Corvette1340 definitely has the funniest signature line on CU.
