WOW! Someone sure got scammed.......I don't understand, with the new PayPal/Ebay buyer protection, how people still get away with this....this has GOT to be a nightmare for them!
  • is it possible they bought the card from huggins then took a bath on ebay?

No....someone pulled the BUY IT NOW button....why on Earth would you buy a card last week, and sell it for 3,000 less this week.....sounds like someone is forfeiting their Ebay account and retiring for good, $7,500 richer!

I reported it and I hope everyone else does the same....I would hate to see someone conned out of $7,500....I would hope someone would do the same for me....

Unfortunely, in most cases such as this one, unless the owner of the actual card makes a complaint against the seller, nothing will be done in time, if at all.

In the good ole days of eBay, a caring individual could contact the bidders or, in this case, the buyer to prevent such a situation from happening.

I sent the buyer, evan123car a warning. Maybe with enough warnings he'll be able to keep from being scammed

I don't recall this "glitch" previously, but goofbay shows
the original BIN and not the BO-sale.

  • Just send the seller a scary email. Must be a kid or young adult judging by his/her feedback and items for sale.

Hopefully you got 1 or more prize cards. Only buying 3 sometimes makes it tough.

One of those ebay "prize lot" sellers, "pot luck" sellers with the "you'll receive a random lot but there might be a key card in there"...which of course are all a scam to some degree...the buyer shoulda looked and seen this and figured it out...especially when his highest posted ebay sale was under 20 bucks.

At least he might not get scammed, but you would think he would leave appropriate feedback
