anyone going to the Long Island National?

Hi,just curious to see what the response is to this show,I went a few years ago but now I'm thinking about going again and bringing my 8 year old son and see if it's something he might like.I'm happy to see Keith Hernandez is going to be there as I worked on his home in Southampton a few years ago and he signed a card, 8 x 10 photo and a ball for me during my visit,a very nice down to earth regular guy.

I'm going to try to get there. I've been to that show before and it's definitely worth going. Hofstra and the Westchester shows are the two best i know of in the tri state area. Do you know if any others?

    jivan,

I love the 69 basketball set. Look at my basketball youtube video (link to my youtube page is below) I have a complete set, although it is a mid-tier quality. I have some other cool basketball cards as well. Take a look -- hope you enjoy!! What do you collect?

  • I think I'm going by myself,I think a 8 year old will really slow me down and when you haven't been to a show in years I want to take my time and I know he will want to go home after about 30 minutes,he like most kids his age would rather play video games and RC cars, things that keep them more active.I remember starting to like baseball in 1976 and I was 9 so I'll keep working at it,got some TTM's today and he just looked at them and shrugged his shoulders and said I'm playing guitar hero.
