Player collectors, more likely to buy card already in registry set or if you have to add it yourself

A pop1 psa 10 of your favorite player comes up for sale.

Do you pay more if you can add it right away or bid the same if you know you have to add it yourself and wait 2-70 months for it to be added to the registry.

Just curious

I usually pay the same as long as it can be added to the registry. I would pay less if they cannot be added to the registry, i.e. Ripken cards 2002 and after.

Interesting question/poll. For me, I like introducing cards to the registries that I participate, espcially master sets for certain players. In some of the more competitive registries where even the most rare cards are already present and discussed, I would pay a premium for a card that wasn't already included.
