Anyone know the origin of these old photos?

Does anyone know the origin of these old vintage photos? These are not photos you would purchase today; glossy, etc. I found them in my grandmother attic maybe 20 years ago, and completely forgot I had them. I *thought* that at the time when I found them, someone told me they were giveaways at stadiums in the 1950s and 1960s, but dont know for sure.

Nope, nothing. I wish I could better describe the texture of them. They definitely are not newer photos....

I believe those are "premiums" that were given away for sending so many wrappers or cards or something like that. I have seen them before but for the life of me cannot remember what they are. You will probably have luck on the net54 boards if nobody comes up with the information on here.
I am on a budget and I am not afraid to use it!!

Thanks. They look a lot like them, but the dimensions are different and the guys I have are not guys listed in their set. It's really close though.

The Ruth and Mack cards are definitely 1934 R309-1 GOUDEY PREMIUMS.

Looks to me like you have a few different issues including the '36 Goudey Pens.
