Thanks BBCE

I bought some packs and rack packs from BBCE. Opened them yesterday. I bought one pack of 1980 Topps Basketball. I pulled the Magic/Bird rc out of the pack. It's going into psa today. Has a shot at a psa 9. Very nice.

I tend to agree... good luck! how about a scan before sending???
<< <i>plus how do you even post scans on the boards? Any help would be appreciated. Todd >>
you'd need to upload the image to the web - somewhere like photobucket or flickr (personally I like flickr better). After uploading you need the weblink of the image and then you click on the icon next to the underline button.
If you search the MB you should find some instructions.

Great Pull, What are the odds of buying one pack and pulling that card? Congrats can't wait to see the pop.
Assuming 24 cards in the pack and 176 different cards available (in the set) -- and all else equal -- random collation, no short prints, etc.
The odds are about 13% of pulling at least one Bird/Magic rookie.
Scott
p.s. I'm not sure if the 24/176 assumptions are correct
edited to add: the math is not as simple as just dividing 24/176
Always plenty of PSA-graded cards in my ebay store -- https://ebay.com/str/thelumbercompanysportscards
Image shack is the best host. The photobucket pics usually disappear with a few months.

There are only 8 cards per pack, 8 X 3 panels = "24 cards". I opened a box once and got 3 Bird/Magic RC's. I think 2 - 3 per box is normal, so if you buy one pack (from a reputable source like BBCE) you have a 5% - 8% chance of pulling one.
