Someone says to themself , " I GOT to have that card , instead of someone else. "

    Difficult to understand.

  • Anyone know the Pop on this card?

That is an extremely tough, best RC of a very popular, single team, sure fire HOFer.

Not sure what they usually sell for, but there can't be many of them out there...
I am buying and trading for RC's of Wilt Chamberlain, George Mikan, Bill Russell, Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, and Bob Cousy!
Don't waste your time and fees listing on ebay before getting in touch me by PM or at gregmo32@aol.com !
  • I could see it being a $~100 card, Biggio has a lot of fans and I imagine that is his key RC. Now, the $300 it looks like it will go for...
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

It has a pop of 17 as a PSA 10.

  • That is one ugly looking Psa 10.

Two weeks ago one sold for $100, but the seller had 1/78 in the title when its only a pop 17. The 5 sales prior to that this year are all between $260 and $350.

I would bet that the 2 top dogs of the Craig Biggio Master Registry Set are fighting for this card. Neither of the 2 guys have the card in their set yet. Just a hunch!

  • I used to follow these...it is indeed a very tough card...Biggio's toughest rookie card. Centering L-R is always impossible...9s used to sell for $100, and the few 10s I saw (talking about 5+ years ago) sold for over $300 when you could find one.
    Roberto Alomar same story.

I guess I stand corrected. I would never have thought it could consistantly go for that much.

The card being GLOSSY is what is ratcheting the price up as high as it is. The standard non-glossy version sells for about $45-$55 with the GLOSSY version selling consistently in the $250.00 range.

I still can't believe that card got a 10 with that centering.

No doubt - 33/67 L/R (from the looks of it) means it would be lucky to get a straight 9 even. I would have waited.
Looking for rare Randy Moss rookies and autos, as well as '97 PMG Red Football cards for my set.

Do you really think the person that bought it is interested in what it looks like? I'm sure that the holder could be empty for all he/she cares.
