Checklist of all cards..

what is the best way to find cards by year, card number, make, etc? With all the new stuff it is hard to figure out what is what. Anybody know of a place, website, etc to detect what each card is.?

Also, what are the best RC Auto cards for Adrian Gonzalez. This is one of the reasons I asked the above question because I am having a hard time figuring out which cards are rookies or not. Thanks.image

I like to use Beckett.com's little search feature. You can type in a player's name, and it'll come up with all cards for that player, and you can narrow the search down by year, autographs, etc.

As for rookie cards, I usually go with the earliest card of the player produced as part of a major card set (Topps, Upper Dec, etc).

Adrain Gonzalez has only 1 autographed card from his rookie year for cards, and that's the 2000 Bowman Draft Autographs #bdpa20.

It's in insert card, so technically not a rookie card, but it's his most valuable card from 2000, and the only autographed one, so you can't really go wrong with it.

  • what grade was he in when he signed that card ? Like Kindergarden ?

I love old timers who sign so you can read their name.

Sorry, I'm glad you got the card you wanted - it's not your fault.

This is a pretty good one for team collectors...it's a little clunky but after you tool around for a bit you'll figure it out.
