eBay options getting reset

Just a heads-up: I was going through some of my active fixed price listings, changing the categories and adding item specifics, and I noticed that a bunch of my other options had been reset, too. My options for Visa/Mastercard and Discover were turned off in all my listings. Combined shipping was turned off in all listings, too. And my sales tax setting was turned off in most listings. If you are running fixed price listings, you might want to do a spot check to see if your settings are still correct. I use Turbo Lister to do my listings, but I don't know if that has anything to do with the options getting reset.

    Everything okay here.
I don't use TL .... too many problems in the past!

Do you use a different tool, PoppaJ? TL works okay, but it's painfully slow for me.
  • My Combined shipping rules are currently not work. I used turbolister as well and everything is fine within the program.

I've used Auctiva since the day it became available; haven't had any problems yet. I find it very easy to use and it's much faster than TL.

TurboLister used to drive me nuts with all of it's glitches and probs.

Almost related to the OP topic....

I noticed there are more card companies to choose from today, notably Collector's Edge has finally been added to the subcategories...or whatever the correct eBay term for the search categories is.

Likely some faults in your Item Specifics.

Could be a shipping, payment, or insurance selection
    that needs to be changed.

That is what I thought at first. I believe all the specifics are correct, except about 10% of my listings which do not have a return policy. I thought it might be them but each one I checked is correct and I have been able to relist them without making any changes...so I don't know. I would have had all my return specifics fixed but eBay wouldn't let me do all of them the other week and I could not remember where I left off exactly. (I save all my photos/descriptions so no super biggie if I lost a few in the eBay system).

I guess most of these are my older ones it appears so it could be the return thing...or maybe they now do not relist after 4-5 months? Also, for some reason it is telling me I can get my listing fee back if it sells. Never saw that before on a store item.

  • Okay, I may have figured it out. It is also saying "Some features that make your listing stand out are no longer available." So perhaps that is why they were not relisted (or canceled)?
