    Wow.

    Is there enough there to determine its authenticity?
  • There's probably a few at the bottom of the New York Harbor that are in better shape than that one! image
  • That one looks like a fake to me. Actually looks like it was cut pretty recently. If it were cut back in the 50's or early 60's (the only time someone could possibly not know the value of the card), I don't think those lines would be as straight as they are. Borders look a little too white, too, for a card with that much "wear" on it. The sharp edges would have rounded off a little by now.

    That sold on ebay a while back for like $500-$600. There was a thread here about it.

    It's real if you look at rest of the auction.
    Just some kid in the 50's who put together an album of cards and clippings.

    I remember that. I think it actually sold for a little over $700. It was about 3 or 4 years ago, seems like.

    actually ...cut with a skate, beat with a stick and flattened with a puck - GOAL !
