Need info on 2004 eTopps Favre convention 1 of 1

A friend of mine has asked about a card that he obtained at the last (2008?) Sports Collectors Convention in Cleveland. He obtained an encapsulated 2004 eTopps Brett Favre that has imprinted on the front "1 of 1" and "Cleveland" and has an imprint of a guitar (I guess because the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is in Cleveland). On the back the card says "Limited Edition of 900". We assume that the "1 of 1" status means that the card is worth considerably more than a regular 2004 eTopps Favre. Does anyone have any info on what such a card of any player has sold for on eBay (or anywhere else) in the last few months? There is nothing on eBay's Completed Listings to guide us. Thanks in advance for any information to help. He hesitates to list it on eBay until he has at least some indication of what to expect.
Always looking for Mantle cards such as Stahl Meyer, 1954 Dan Dee, 1959 Bazooka, 1960 Post, 1952 Star Cal Decal, 1952 Tip Top Bread Labels, 1953-54 Briggs Meat, and other Topps, Bowman, and oddball Mantles.

<< <i>The National Etopps 1/1s were Etopps cards that were taken in hand and stamped aftermarket with the National 1/1 serial number. They were available in 'HotBoxes', where you got one of the commemorative National cards, and a few other in hand Etopps cards. The 2004 Etopps Brett Favre was released with 900 copies, which could have been shipped or remained in port (if you follow Etopps). It's anybody's guess what the value could be. It is technically a 1/1, even though it is an after market 1/1. A Favre fan who really needs the card might pay a pretty penny for it. >>
or maybe not pay a pretty penny for it. i wouldnt.

Although stamped 1/1 from the Cleveland National, it is not really a 1/1... it is a 1/4 eTopps Cleveland National aftermarket card. To increase the number of 1/1's to include in the hotboxes, and to minimize the number of distinct card subjects required to support ~2000 hotboxes.... the collectors (not Topps employees) responsible for stamping, slabbing & selling the hotboxes used four different 1/1 stamps, each with a different type of guitar... thus giving them the ability to stamp the same card four times and creating 4, arguably different, 1/1 copies.
Personally, and having been a part of eTopps for nearly a decade now... and having participated in a number of their National booths in the past... I thought the way they handled these cards for the Cleveland National was rather disappointing. I'd say you have no real premium above the actual prices of this card... unless you found an actual "niche" collector who was looking to complete the set of all 4 and willing to pay a premium to acquire such.
Also to note, given this is a 2004 eTopps card, it is likely that there was also a 1/1 Chicago National produced in 2005. Those in charge of the hotboxes at least did it right with the 2005 National and only produced one 1/1 card for any given eTopps card.
At best, they're all just novelty items. They are little different then the cards from people who write 1/1 (or something like that) on a card and try to pass it off as original and/or rare. The only real difference is that the cards came from a Topps sponsored booth (NOTE: sponsored, not organized and/or ran) at a National Sports Collectors Convention.
