Question about 1994 Leaf Limited

Does the Alex Rodriguez Leaf Limited show up in the 1994 Leaf Limited wax box? Sometimes these cards show up in Factory Sets or some other type of packaging? I am ignorant toward how to acquire the Leaf Limited AROD. If you have the answer I would appreciate your response.image

  • 94 Leaf Limited were factory sealed foil boxes and only 30,000 were produced. The rookies were randomly inserted. I think you got one rookie per box.

They most definetly did not make factory sets. After 1992, only Topps and Upper Deck made them and only for their most basic sets.

He did not say factory set, a factory wax box is something different. Which is what Leaf did.

  • Didn't "Factory Wax box" sound a little strange to anyone else? I'd "assume" that a wax box would be factory produced. Anyhow, the A-Rod is part of an insert set randomly seeded within 1994 Leaf Limited "Rookies" FOIL Boxes.......
  • That's what I said.

Don't confuse the poor guy. There are two "Leaf Limited" series released in 1994. The regular "Leaf Limited" version, which run about $40 per box, and the "Leaf Limited Rookies" version that run $150 per box. The "Leaf Limited Rookies" version contains the rookie insert set that is randomly seeded and contain the A-Rod card.

I'd hate to see him buy 10 boxes of the regular version.
