Goodwin auction. Sid Luckman brings almost $72,000.

Some big money paid for cards here. In addition to the Luckman a Boston Store Joe Jackson brought over $31,000 and a T205 set brought over $40,000.

    That is a crazy example of what can happen when two bidders both will not be stopped in pursuit of a card.

    I couldn't imagine justifying that expense for a card which would sell for about $500 if it were EX - MT. Unreal!

    That Luckman is extremely tough to find in that condition, also a key card to the set and the NFL HOF rookie set so I can see someone who has so much money they dont know what to do with it all bid to own that card.

    I always keep in mind that 100K to some people is seriously like 25 cents to us.
