Maybe there's an Alex Gordon RC hiding behind those walls. Get that sledge hammer out and start prospecting!

I was helping a friend knock down sheet rock and out fell and old baseball bat.

It was a Cy Williams bat. Very dark in color.

    Auto looked Fascimile on it.

At the time, I was 14 yrs old or so, I didn't really know who Cy Williams was.

Even though I didn't get anything out of the deal, it sparked my interest in the hobby.

    Pretty cool.

    Very cool!

When I was in 3rd grade my friends dad found a '33 Goudey Tony Lazzeri in the wall of their home when remodeling their kitchen. Actually in good shape too. I thought it must have been the most valuable thing I had ever seen. Definitely sparked my interest in vintage cards.

    Edited for spelling.

Very cool story, thanks for sharing.

Anyone have an idea of its estimated value?
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

Lifson from REA says five figures would not be a stretch...I was surprised to read that 15 Just so cards exist in total!??
