Advice needed for non-payer

It was bound to happen I suppose. Winning bidder of my auction states that his car got stolen and cannot may payment on his winning bid. :/

What would you do? (Winning bidder has 100+ positive feedback 100%)

    As a seller, there is nothing you can do to force a buyer to send payment.

    As a buyer, there is nothing you can do to force a seller to mail the card.

    Send the buyer a request to cancel the transaction (to get your eBay fees back) and relist the card and move on.

    Agree with Jack, it's the only way.

    You could also request that he stab himself in the gootch with a cattle prod.

    I am just glad it is a normal non pay situation instead of "I require people to pay in 24 hours and it's been 24.1 hours what do I do?"

    I guess it wasn't a big deal, I requested to cancel transaction and the buyer accepted. The world is back in alignment and no chopping/stabbing necessary. Yay! Thanks for the advice and entertainment all! image
