Questions Regarding the Vintage and Regular B/S/T forums

Sometime between now and the end of the year I am considering putting up some cards on eBay. I have a 56 Baseball set in mid-to-high grade (average is probably in the low to mid 6 range) where I went and got 10 graded (Mantle, Mays, Clemente, Koufax, etc.), Bobby Hull (PSA 7) and Bobby Orr (PSA 5) rookies, 67 Mantle (PSA 8) and other hockey from the 50's and 60's.
If I went to the PSA boards, which one should I use to get the most eyes? Has any one ever had any problems with buyers? Do people typically use paypal? What has been the experience on prices realized versus eBay? My experience with eBay has been that it appears if it is not a straight auction starting at a penny, you get excluded from searches. For example, with 56 Mantles, the auctions have ranged from $610 to $725, while there has been one BIN for $595 for quite some time. I experienced it with the 67 Mantle during May/June as I first had a reserve with a BIN of $525, then a starting bid of $440. I decided to wait. Even a Parkhurst Beliveau Rookie PSA 2 (surface wrinkles) went for my starting bid of $95 when I thought it was superior to several ungraded examples that sold for more.
I tried to post scans, but I need to rescan at a lower dpi to get them to 50k size. Should I use 150? I was using 600 and could only get the files down to 50k with photoshop.
Any help or guidance would be welcomed.
Thanks in advance.

I must be missing something in the browse/upload concept. Any help would be welcomed. Thanks.

Getting back to your original question, I think more eyes will probably see your posting on the B/S/T thread.
