I found it on ebay again-it was 999.00, not 5900.00... here is the auction number 400066430713
I collected a lot of 1980 topps and I never knew this card was out there. I guess it wasnt in any of the packs I bought as a kid.

The one shown (in that auction) could never be graded as it has a blank back and possibly could be a fake.

999.00 is cheap .................I wonder why?

    Steve

    Good for you.

  • So is this a real card??? I keep having the image in my head thinking ive seen one with martin on it and not a blank back. Can anyone give me the full scoop.....

As stated in the Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards, this is a proof card, and has only been seen as a blank-back, and usually demonstrating a hand cut. The big book has it at $200 in NM, which is probably low, but we won't know until one actually sells.
