Set Registry updates - '62 Topps

The old competitive juices are flowing again as I find all kinds of good deals on that auction place and on some posts here. With the latest update I made, I finally passed a familiar name in the 1962 Topps Basic Set thanks to a tiebreaker:

I'm still draggin' behind in the Master Set:

There are still more cards comin' though. Can't wait to see where I end up by this time next week.

It's been fun!

  • How cool is that? One of the Top 30 Sets of a baseball classic - the 1962 Topps. Even though they were issued before my time, I and my friends always revered that set as kids, and collected our own version of "wooden" bordered baseball, the 1987 Topps. Nice job there.

    Thanks, all!

Mike - It was the purchase I made from you that really got me over the hump in getting this far. Can you believe it was July of 2005 -- over four years ago! -- that I bought that large lot from you?? Some of the key cards of my Set Registry were from that purchase.

This was the first set I bought packs for back when I was a 9-year-old kid. I have a complete raw set but I can't believe how awesome the cards look in a PSA7 sleeve. Can't wait to complete this graded set in a few more years.

They are works of art! image
