Thanks for input.

  • You have the cards back and sold them again. Obviously you need to refund the money as the original transaction was never completed. Don't be a creep.
  • As frustrating as the situation was, it seems to me that you want to do what will haunt you the least.

If it were me, I'd refund the original buyers money to him and move on. You'll feel better in the long run.

  • Well, creep isn't really necessary. You could have just confirmed the idea of a refund. Refund is the way i was leaning, or at least some amicible solution. Hell, not trying to rip him off, i did my full extent of the transaction, how long should i wait for his reply (non ) before i should sell the cards AGAIN?

  • issue a refund and send him a few common cards maybe he will come back and buy from you again.

I would refund him and block him.

EBAYers only get to flake-out once, with me.

When I decide a buyer/seller is NOT concerned
about me, I cut 'em loose forever.

The refund should've been issued when the cards were returned and contact was unable to be made with the buyer and a credit requested for final value fees. Anything else is theft regardless of the circumstances.

"i guess a refund is in order?"

    You have to ask?

Flip the roles around and put yourself in the buyers shoes.

Would YOU want your money back?

Refund should have been made BEFORE cards sold a second time. Refund now, better late than never.

  • Geez........give the guy a break. He is trying to do the right thing, did you read his post? Everybody is all high and mighty when they are not involved. Just refund the doe and move on.

Not sure who you are referring to, yes the guy asked if he should refund the buyers money and everyone
    replied that yes he should.

I found it funny that he even had to ask. As for refunding before he resold the cards I have no problem with that as
he was waiting for the original buyer to respond back.

  • I think we found the new edit king. Ebayaddict please give me your eBay ID so I can block you in the future.

Ethics are lacking for sure in this country if he needs to question if a refund is in order when the transaction was never completed.

By the way nothing was resolved even though you changed your thread title.

Until the cards are in the buyer's hands you have not completed your end of the transaction regardless if the items got bounced or lost at the Post Office.

The meeting of the minds you and the buyer came to was he provided money in return for your cards.
