Scan help....

How do I post scans on here without going over the 50 kb limit ? Every time I try to attach a file it's over the limit about half way through downloading. Thanks

Pre you need to have an outside host.

Like mentioned go to photbucket.com and upload there.

    Save and copy the url.

With the copied url come here and using the icon that looks like a picture of

a mountain post the url there.

Go to the test forum and try it first.

I have to delete the IMG letters on both ends. For some reason they are doubled.

Steve, instead of clicking the mountain picture, I just paste the photobucket link directly into the message, and it works fine.

    Cool

I'll have to try that. Will it work with a Mac?

Yep that way works too. When did PSA start this? I've always thought one had to post it thru the mountain icon.

The last photobucket link (4th one down) has the necessary image HTML codes already.

I have noticed that when I copy the URL from the Share feature on Photobucket I have to cut out a lot of the other crap that shows up in that link. It's usually a bunch of extra HTML formatting, so I have to clean it up so that the link ends with (filename).jpg and doesn't contain any quotes or anything like that. Otherwise you'll get the red X in a box instead of your scan.

    Steven,
Instead of using the photo button, you just paste directly in the post and it works perfectly without having to delete the [IMG] that is doubled...I guess photobucket already does it for you.
  • IMO, the best way is Tinypic.com

Let me know if you need any help with it once you've gone to the site and still having trouble...
