I would get a different Rose for your PC. The fisheye, top right corner and centering are all bothersome.

I'd agree with Mike. Centering is below average for an 8, and the fisheye is rather distracting, IMHO..

The Clemente, OTOH, looks like a Mint 9. Definitely high-end there..

Yep, centering and fisheye were the first two things to catch my eye.

I could live with the centering, but that fisheye just draws immediate attention. I know you can do better Ron Burgundy!

Sorry, but the fish eye does not bother me one bit, but is that card permanently c@* k-eyed in the holder or does it move?
Also, is the top right corner of the Clemente touched and what is the "speck" on the top left corner?
I would be happy to own any of these cards!

The AH - "fisheye" - makes the Rose not a keeper.

I like the Brock., the centering on it is really nice. You picked these up raw?

I like the rose, for now. Seen many nice ones with many fish eyes. That one isn't too bad, better there than near Pete etc.

I would keep it until I had another one that I like better, then pawn it off. It will be easy to move and gain value as you hold it and Pete gets closer to Hall eligibility. You may not find a cleaner one that will make you happy, hold this one for now.

Burgundy, Send me the Rose for closer inspection! image

I got the Brock and Clemente raw, I bought the Rose holdered and got it for a good price. I'm inclined to hold onto it until I see one I like better.

The Clemente is a fabulous card. It is noted for having that print/factory ink mark in the upper left corner. The only thing that keeps this card from being 8.5 or 9 is an ever so slightly clipped lower left corner. It's not a hard card at all but I love this one, it fits Burgundy's rigorous eye appeal standards. image

Love the rough right edge on Roberto. I'd put Rose on ebay with a profitable BIN and see what happens.

  • I'd keep the Rose unless you see a really better one. Yours is better than a lot of the 8's I've seen.
  • The tilt on the Rose bothers me worse than the fisheye.

My thought too. The fisheye is bad but not as bothersome to me. The way the card sits in the holder bothers me.

    Nice Clemente.

I think that's what bugs me more than anything else.

I always thought those 63 rookies look like heads mounted on a wall

If the Clemente print dot is common to all the 61s, I am wondering why it is not 8.5
