OT - Max Smith update - photo

In light of the post regarding the difficult situation our friend Jeff is going through right now, I'd like to post the first public photo of my wife and I's little premature miracle Max. It's hard to post such a pic on a public forum, but I've already thrown myself out there and have REALLY appreciated the support from you guys so far. I thought you at least deserved to see what the little bugger looks like.

Born at just 26 weeks or so. 3 weeks old tomorrow. Has serious lung issues (thus the vent down his gullet), but is digesting food like that man v. food guy. Just need them lungs to grow and mature.

He is only 1 lb. - 12 -oz. About 13 inches long. Small, but loves chillin' in his rasta hat.

Jeff - please send me a PM if you are out there. We're in this together buddy. P.S. - I still want that Larry Legend Stand Up.

That's great Bob. Each week is a major milestone for him, I'm glad to hear about the progress.

I like the hat by the way.

Looks like a good Rasta as he's already hitting the bong... image

All the best with Max's continued and hopefully expedient recovery and hoping he'll join Mom and Dad at home very soon!

Some good friends of mine had their son born at about the same point as your boy. He was tiny and we were all so worried. Well, he's 7 now, smart as a whip, as big as all of the other kids in his grade, and healthy as a horse. I have faith you'll get the same results. My prayers are with you. Make sure you give him some cards early so he can get hooked.
