pick ups from the White Plains "East Coast National" opinions on the bench rc

Picked up a few cards today at the White Plains show.
(1) I met Carol J at the PSA booth. We chatted. Very nice and classy person. Dropped off a Joe Dimaggio auto for PSA DNA
(2) 1969 Aaron PSA 8
(3) 1962 Whitey Ford PSA 8 - traded for a $20 and BVG 7 1969 Ryan which had crappy centering and corners that probably would not make it to a PSA 7
(4) 1968 Bench RC GAI 8.5. I took a chance on this. I traded it for my 64 PSA DNA Nellie Fox auto and 59 fleer T Williams common PSA 8. The card has been reviewed by BVG hence the stickers- they gave it a 8.5. Do you think this was a mistake ? This card is super sharp- ? possible PSA 8.5 or 9

Have not been to a show there since Rothstein ran them into the ground.

Nice pickups - can't comment on the trade - don't know.
Thanx for sharing.

<< <i>Yikes I did not realize that when I wrote it. I should have said Gloria.....

I recall huge SCD Ads where Gloria Rothstein had some of the best autograph guests in the industry at her shows. Out of curiousity, what did she do to run them into the ground?

The dealer who traded me the Bench card had submitted the slab for BVG review (not me). I would like to have all my cards in PSA slabs. I would make out if I got a PSA 8.5 or higher; an 8 would be a wash, and below 8 would be a loss. The card seemed so sharp so I pulled the trigger
