Topps sequencing question

Does anyone know the sequences in which Dale Murphy cards run in?

1. If this is a message faux pas, don't beat me up too bad.
2. I would use this info to purchase rack packs off ebay. I assume that all single rack packs are searched and will not contain a major rookie, but pack searchers are probably not going to bust a 82 topps rack when the best card is Dale Murphy. But I would!!!!

For just 1982? or for all years? I doubt anyone knows.

BTW any info would be greatly appriciated.
I was hoping that maybe a couple of different forum users would have some info about different years and different companies.

I understand that this is a shot in the dark.

Maybe a better question would be; If your were to try and compile a sequencing list of 1979-1985 Topps in which Dale Murphy's card fall in, how would you begin to do this? and if anyone already has any info regarding this matter, would you mind aiding me in my endeavour?

To find an 1982 Dale Murphy in a rack pack all you have to do is find a George Brett "Blackless" showing on the front of the pack.

    Good Luck.

I won an 1983 rack with DM all-star showing. Would the cards following his be the same cards that will generally follow his. If so, then if I find a 83 rack for sale on ebay that has the back pictured and one of the cards that followed DM earlier showing, then likely that rack will contain DM also.

    Is this logic flawed?

  • I have an 84 Donruss rack pack with Murphy on top.
  • Wouldn't it be easier to just purchase the Murphey cards you want.

It would be much easier, but I'm odd

I think he's going for PSA 10s and thinks this is a good way to go about getting them in pack fresh form.
