I think it has a shot at crossing.
I would leave it alone.
Doubt PSA would give it a 7.5.
Good luck in whatever you decide.
Steve
What does the lower right corner look like?
Is it strong enough to keep the other 3 in the 8 range?
Overall, it looks pretty much where it belongs - could drop to 7 in a PSA holder if the lower right is soft.

Great card, I think it has a chance to cross, you should go for it. I use tile cutters on BVG holders.
Looks like there are some issues with the surface
very nice card though
Would it sell for more in a PSA 7 slab?

Make a thread about cracking it but don't crack it!

My concern is the tilt.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
HOF SIGNED FOOTBALL RCS
BVG 7.5 $415.00
PSA 7 $393.60
PSA 7.5 $565.00
Looks like a solid upside, provided your eye tells you it is atleast a PSA 7

Here are the options:
1) Crack it as intended.
2) List as BIN on Ebay.
3) Sell it to Corvette at a big markup.

<< <i>I'd go with number 3.
Steve >>
I wouldn't buy it from you if it was $50.
Or is it simply another case of you not understanding?
Steve
<< <i>ummm I'm not selling it, Ron is. Or are you saying you would not buy it from him for 50.00?
Or is it simply another case of you not understanding?
Steve >>
lol, Rainman, I'm saying that if it was yours I wouldn't buy it for $50 even though it's worth a lot more. It's kind of like the illegal immigrants that have lawn services in my area. Even though they only charge about half of my regular lawn guy, I won't let them cut my yard because I hate illegal immigrants/drains on society.
Steve
Wonder why he doesn't take his own advice?
Steve
lol and you called me bitter, how do you know they are illegal? Did you ask them for papers?

I think he may be trying to say that you are here illegally.
Guess that would explain your devotion to Omar Minaya.

yes, in fact I did. I also won't sell a car to anyone here illegally regardless of how much cash they have.
Steve
Back to the topic..
Ron nice card and you have a good eye on Vintage and obviously a much better look at the card since you have it in hand.. what do you think?
The only way I would send it PSA is cracked out.. Not a big fan of the crossover service for any of the Big grading companies myself..
I'll jab once from now on and move on.

Would love to see how many of Tom's relatives came into this country. I'm sure there's a few that didn't pass through proper channels. Heck, traced my family back to the mid 1600's and the Port of Philadelphia. But there are always a few branches that get lost or misplaced along the way...
Your best shot at a 7.5 is through the crossover service.
That doesn't make much sense, but I've had so many cards go from 7.0 to 8 after resubmitting them that I'm convinced the graders don't have a good feel for that half grade. Otherwise, at least some of them should have gotten 7.5's the first time.

Sold on Ebay BIN for $649. I'm fine with that.
