  • Yeah, tell them you know nothing about cards!!! Tell them you might have some Babe Ruth's in there, but your not sure... image

Are you selling anything of big value?

I would think it would be easy to sell in lots, if theres nothing big in there.

I traded NASCAR die cast for a lot of cards a guy had and a very large box (well over 2000 cards) of cards that were purchased at a garage sale. They were all wrapped in cling wrap like clear packs. I hope who ever wrapped the cards up didnt have as much trouble as I did getting the cards out. I also dont recemond using cling wrap on cardboard.

ONE large lot. Someone will buy for their son, nephew, etc... thinking they have scored a major find. The son, nephew, etc... (probably one of us on these very boards) will not be very pleased with our mom, mother in law, aunt's great purchase!
  • I sold 5000 count monster boxes with random years and brands for $10 a box at my last garage sale. Sold 4 of them.

I donated about 5 5000 ct. boxes to a local charity (with a resale shop retail store) and told them to sell them for a nickel a card. So far I understand it's been very successful for them.

Advertise that you will have cards at the yard sale. I list our yard sales on craigslist and we always have several who
stop by because of the ad. Like others mentioned have larger boxes with get out the door prices.
